Google ads & PPC
Google Ads, formerly known as Google AdWords, is an online advertising platform developed by Google. It allows businesses and advertisers to create and display targeted ads on Google’s search engine results pages (SERPs) and the Google Display Network, which includes millions of websites and apps. Google Ads operates on a pay-per-click (PPC) model, where advertisers only pay when users click on their ads.
PPC, or pay-per-click, is an internet advertising model in which advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked. It is a form of paid advertising, where advertisers bid on specific keywords relevant to their target audience. When users search for those keywords on Google or visit websites that display relevant ads, the ads are shown, and advertisers pay a predetermined cost for each click received.
